Terms of Service - ReCode

1. What Information We Collect

When you sign up for early access to ReCode, we may collect the following information:

• Email address (required to notify you about availability)
• Name (if provided voluntarily)
• Optional feedback you choose to share

We do not collect passwords, payment data, or application content from your Bubble projects.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Notify you when ReCode becomes available
• Share updates about ReCode (feature launches, roadmap, or feedback requests)
• Respond to questions or support inquiries

We do not send promotional emails unrelated to ReCode.

3. .bubble File Usage and Legal Responsibility

ReCode allows users to upload .bubble export files (available via Bubble's Settings → General → Export Application) for the purpose of generating React Native code. This feature is intended for users to analyze their app structure and accelerate development planning.

• It is used only to generate your React Native code
• It is not stored, shared, or analyzed for any internal use
• It is processed in-memory during generation and discarded after delivery

Important Notice:

Bubble's Terms of Use may restrict how their platform output (including JSON exports) can be used outside the Bubble ecosystem. ReCode is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bubble, and we do not claim any rights to their platform, tooling, or file formats.

By using ReCode, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for how you obtain, upload, and use your .bubble export file.
• You understand that Bubble prohibits using exported data to create derivative works outside their platform.
• You will not use ReCode in violation of Bubble's terms or licensing agreements.

ReCode processes .bubble files in-memory only and does not store, analyze, or retain them.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Your information is stored securely and only accessible to the ReCode development team at Appelian.

5. Generated Code Disclaimer

The code generated by ReCode is intended for educational, experimental, and evaluation purposes only. It is provided "as is," and may contain approximations or simplifications of your Bubble layout.

We do not guarantee compatibility with Bubble's business terms or licensing. Use at your own discretion and legal responsibility.

6. Your Rights

You can request to:

• View the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Remove yourself from our list at any time

7. Data Security

We store all collected data using secure industry-standard practices and limit access to authorized personnel only.

Temporary files (e.g., .bubble) are deleted immediately after processing.

8. Disclaimer of Responsibility for Free Use

ReCode is currently offered as a free pre-alpha tool. The code generated by ReCode is provided "as is", without any guarantees or warranties. We are not responsible for:

• The correctness, completeness, or fitness of the generated code
• Any technical, legal, or financial consequences resulting from its use
• How you or any third party modify or deploy the code

Use of ReCode-generated output is entirely at your own risk.

9. Use of Generated Code & Custom Support

We are not responsible for how users choose to implement, deploy, or distribute the generated React Native code.

We are happy to offer guidance or development help upon request, but:

• Support must be explicitly requested by the user
• All paid support is subject to a formal service agreement and will be billed accordingly

If you need help customising, extending, or maintaining the output from ReCode, we are open to assisting you on a commercial basis.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Terms of Service to reflect improvements or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email.
